Mount Carmel Convent School, Bagrana is a minority Christian institution under the management of St. Peter’s Society a registered body run by CMC Sisters (Congregation of Mother of Carmel.) The congregation is an agency engaged in Social Cultural and Educational Development of the society with special trust in education.

Facilities :

House System

The students are divided into four house (Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz) House activities and inter-house competitions really encourage and mould their healthy competitive spirit through co-operation and teamwork.

Library

The School has a library with a wide variety of books. The students are motivated to make the best use of the library. Reference books magazines, periodicals and news papers are issued from our school library for the benefit of our students.
School Bus

The school provides bus facility for those who wish to avail of it within the specified area of operation.

Science Lab

Science is a boon companion of modern man. Man without this boon is like fish out of water. Science club is intended to inculcate scientific attitude and interest in logical and analytical thinking. Recreational and meaningful scientific hobbies and projects are suggested to arouse curiosity, critical analysis, and creative skills, Science is applied in technology and both scientific and technological innovations and information are valuable and useful to modern man in all aspects of life.

Mathematics club / Lab

Mathematics is the queen of all subjects. Without mathematics one cannot progress in any disciplines of science and commerce. Even in daily life situations one cannot dispense mathematics from routine life. Hence all must have keen interest in this subject so as to have an accurate precise and qualitative life. Quality is assessed by quantity and genuineness. In order to arouse the interest in mathematics, the mathematics club functions in the school. Various skills in mathematics are developed in students, such as memory skills, airthematic skills, numerical skills etc.

Computer Education

We provide Computer education from class I onwards.

Sports and Games

The school provides sports and games facilities too. The school is blessed with a spacious play ground of 200X75 Sq. Mt. PT are conducted every day.Inter house competitions at Sub juniors, Juniors and Seniors levels are conducted in games like Football, Cricket, Handball, Kho-Kho and Badminton. The school also provides adequate facilities for indoor games.

Co curricular activities

To develop the varied interests and different talents of the students we provide ample opportunities through several co-curricular activities like Dance, Yoga, Aerobic, Taekwondo, Art and Crafts work.
Cultural and literacy activities are organized at regular intervals. Science club, Social science club Literature club, Nature club, Quiz club, Debate club and Public speaking corner are effectively functioning in the School.
